Staffordshire Commissioner Matthew Ellis and Chief Executive of Arch, Diane Lea reinforced today the future must be about providing the best possible services for everyone affected by domestic abuse.
Matthew said he and Diane recently held positive talks and after careful consideration both parties have agreed that Arch will cease the legal process for the procurement of the domestic abuse contract and instead focus collective energies on developing effective, collaborative relationships.
Matthew said: ‘Both Diane and I agree it’s vital we put victims first in this matter and I’m delighted we have been able to reach an agreement, which means victims will continue to be at the centre of everything.
‘Arch has great expertise and years of experience, which can continue to help victims in the future and I look forward to the rewarding and improved relationship Diane and I have been talking about.’
Chief Executive Diane Lea said: ‘It was really important we met to share our respective views.
‘Our commitment here at Arch to victims and survivors of domestic violence remains unwavered and I am pleased we are focusing on how we can collaborate to deliver the best services possible, both now and in the future.’
