How we make, record and publish decisions

The Commissioner has an obligation to ensure that decision making is open and transparent. Fire and Rescue service decisions are available on the Fire and Rescue pages.

The Police,Fire and Crime Panel has the ability to review and scrutinise key decisions made by the Commissioner and deadline dates for decisions relating to the setting of the budget and council tax precept.

Different levels of decisions exist. The Commissioner is required to publish key decisions on their website. This is done as decisions are made, together with supporting information as appropriate, on a standard decision making form.
