Complaint Reviews
If you are unhappy with the way a police complaint was handled, or with the final outcome, you can apply for a review.
FOI Requests
The Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2000 has given the right of access to recorded information held by public authorities, subject to certain exemptions. The FOI Act applies to the vast majority of public authorities, including the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC).
Right of Access
Your right to see the information we hold about you
Staffordshire Commissioner’s office needs to collect and use certain types of information about people we deal with. The Data Protection Act 1998 says all personal information must be dealt with properly, however it is collected, recorded and used, whether on paper, in a computer, or on other material, and there are safeguards to make sure this happens.
