Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Ellis will be hearing about the issues that matter to people in Stafford on Wednesday 9 July.

Mr Ellis will hold ‘Let’s Talk’ supermarket surgeries at Asda, Queensway in Stafford between 12noon and 1pm and then at Tesco on Newport Road, Stafford from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.
He will then hold an open meeting at County Buildings, Martin Street, Stafford between 6pm and 7pm.
The events are the latest opportunity for people to tell Mr Ellis first-hand about crime and local policing and their experience of the criminal justice system. People are invited to come along to discuss any concerns they have about crime, policing and community safety with Mr Ellis – no appointment is needed.
Mr Ellis said: “This is a great opportunity to find out what people in Stafford and the surrounding areas have to say. I want to hear what people’s experiences are of policing and the criminal justice system.
“How could things be done better to make sure the system fits the needs of people rather than people having to fit the system?
“These events give local people a chance to shape the future of policing and the criminal justice services for us all.”
This will be the third round of ‘Let’s Talk’ events held by Mr Ellis during the last fortnight, following visits to Newcastle borough on Monday 30 June and Stoke North tomorrow (Friday 4 July).
