Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Ellis is looking forward to the next live webcast of the Staffordshire Police and Crime Panel on Monday, 8 June.
The Panel regularly meets to give views on the plans and decisions of the PCC.
Its next meeting on Monday at 3pm at the County Buildings in Stafford and will be broadcast live online at www.staffordshire-pcc.gov.uk/webcast/
Mr Ellis said: “This is about being open, honest and transparent so that public confidence across policing and criminal justice is improved.
“People can view the meeting in person or watch it live wherever they are via the web, and will also be available to view it online afterwards.”
The meeting will include an update on the PCC’s five-year Safer, Fairer, United Communities strategy and the medium-term financial strategy.
Before the 3pm meeting, at 2pm the panel will hold a confirmatory hearing concerning the appointment of the new Chief Constable after Mr Ellis announced Jane Sawyers as his preferred candidate.
