Staffordshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Ellis spoke to over 60 people at a meeting near Newcastle last night.
The Porthill Residents Association event took place at St Andrew’s Church in Bradwell Lane, Porthill.
It was the latest in a series of ongoing public engagement events where people talk to the Commissioner first-hand about crime and local policing and their experiences of the criminal justice system.
Mr Ellis said: “It was fantastic to spend an enjoyable couple of hours with local people in Porthill. There were some great questions as we talked about the future and issues that matter to those who came to the meeting.
“Meetings like this provide really important opportunities for people to shape the future of policing and the criminal justice services for us all.”
