Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Ellis came under the spotlight in a lively debate with parish councillors from Lichfield district.
Mr Ellis met with representatives from across the district at the Parish Forum at the council offices in Frog Lane, Lichfield, on Thursday, 16 January.
He spoke to them about his vision for policing and community safety including the growth of the Staffordshire Young Police Cadets Service and his technology plan to free up officer time and create thousands of extra hours of visible policing.
The Commissioner said: “It was a tough but enjoyable 80 minutes with parish councillors from the Lichfield area.
“There were good questions and debate and a huge amount of support. I’m really pleased that people recognise what I’m trying to do.”
