Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Ellis spoke with dozens of supermarket shoppers in the Staffordshire Moorlands.
Mr Ellis held the ‘Let’s Talk’ supermarket surgery at Waitrose in Leek from 5.30pm to 6.30pm yesterday.
The event was the latest opportunity for people to tell Mr Ellis first-hand about crime and local policing and their experience of the criminal justice system.
People were invited to come along to discuss any concerns they had about crime, policing and community safety with Mr Ellis.
The Commissioner said: “It was great to meet so many friendly people at Waitrose in Leek yesterday.
“I was again amazed at how many people already know what we’re working on to spend their money better and make policing more visible in their communities.
“There was also positive comments on the work police are doing in the Moorlands.”
