
The Police and Crime Commissioner, Matthew Ellis attended a Womens Institute (WI) meeting in South Staffordshire on Tuesday, 14 April.
Mr Ellis spoke to 25 women at Coven WI about his role and the work he has been doing, and then answered questions from members.
The Commissioner, said: “I would like to thank Coven WI for inviting me to be their guest speaker.
“It was great to meet so many ladies and listen to their views about policing in Coven and the surrounding areas. There were tough questions and some great debate and I really enjoyed it.”
Sue Newell, joint president of Coven WI, said: “We invited Matthew Ellis to talk about what his job involves and give advice to us ladies about living in a village in Staffordshire.
“We really enjoyed the talk from Matthew Ellis and would like to thank him for attending.”
