Police and Crime Commissioner, Matthew Ellis visited Langans Tea Rooms, Burton as part of an Engagement Day in East Staffordshire last week.
Langan’s Tea Rooms which was opened in September 2011 work with the BAC O’Connor Centre’s Recovery Community to support recovering drug and alcohol addicts. The Tea Rooms are run as a social enterprise that provides training, education and a safe environment for people in recovery to socialise in.
Vacancies including chefs and waiting on staff have been created for people in the recovery community to gain work experience and develop new skills.
