PCC praises ‘amazing’ police open day

Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Ellis praised Staffordshire Police’s Open Day which drew over 7,000 people to police headquarters.

Yesterday’s event included vehicle displays, helicopter, police dog demonstrations and much more.

Mr Ellis said: “Congratulations to Staffordshire Police for an amazing open day at police headquarters.

“Thousands of people came to see dogs, helicopters and cars. The mood was amazing, the atmosphere was great and people were really appreciating what the police are doing.”
