Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Matthew Ellis has met hundreds of people from Stoke-on-Trent during four events in just three days.

The ‘Let’s Talk’ events were the latest opportunity for locals to tell Mr Ellis first-hand about crime, local policing and their experience of the criminal justice system in the area.
The hour-long events were held in Asda Wolstanton (Thurs 15), Morrisons Hanley (Fri 16), Tesco Hanley (Fri 16) and Asda Tunstall (Mon 19).
Mr Ellis said: “These supermarket events have proved really popular with people across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.
“It has been a fantastic opportunity to find out what people in Stoke have to say about their experiences of policing and the criminal justice system.
“There’s been a lot of positive reaction and I’m delighted that local people understand what I’m trying to do.”
The ‘Let’s Talk’ supermarket surgeries followed other successful events in Tamworth, Leek and Stone in recent months.
The next ‘Let’s Talk’ takes place on Thursday 29 May in Lichfield.
