Staffordshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Ellis is inviting people to ‘watch again’ the first webcast of Friday’s (16 May 2014) Performance Governance meeting.
This morning’s meeting outlined the latest performance by Staffordshire Police and included updates on resources, cybercrime and work to support victims.
People who missed the live broadcast of the meeting at County Buildings in Stafford can watch it below.
It is the second such webcast in a fortnight – following the successful live broadcast of last week’s Police and Crime Panel which met to give its views on the plans and decisions of the PCC.
Mr Ellis said: “This is about being open, honest and transparent so that public confidence across policing and criminal justice is improved.
“People are invited to attend these meetings in person, watch them live online, or catch-up afterwards with the webcast.”
Accountability, transparency and openness in Staffordshire Police, and wider, is a top priority for the Commissioner.
He is aiming for Staffordshire to be the most open and transparent police force in the country, an ambition which is shared by the Chief Constable.
