The ‘Council Tax’ bills we receive each year contain the amount to be paid locally towards the cost of all councils, the fire and rescue service and the police service. It is the Commissioners responsibility to decide the budgets and the amounts contributed by council tax payers for policing and the fire and rescue service here.
This consultation is designed to give everyone in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent who wants to, the chance to make their views known on the amount we all pay in council tax.
