Provide independent support to detainees who may be vulnerable
Assist the detainee to ensure they understand what is happening during the police interview and investigative stages
Ensure the Police comply with PACE legislation in respect of the detainee
Aid communication between the detainee, the Police and others as required (potentially this could also be with the detainee’s solicitor)

Requirements
Required Attendance 6 – 8 visits per year, which last for approximately 1-2 hours
Additional quarterly team review meetings and training
